Glastonbury, I salute you !

Another Glastonbury has been and gone. Once again it was truly, truly epic. I love the fact that there is just so much to do that 175,000 people will always find something that they will love. Whether it's circuses, the theatre, greenfields, cinemas, healing fields, and obviously the dozens and dozens of music stages. There's something about the place, the creative hive that designs the randomness and the amazing areas is just mind blowing. It's almost impossible to cover the whole of Glastonbury each time but when you go exploring, you will find hidden gems in an awesome environment where everyone is just so happy and loving life! Boy, I love that place!

Glastonbury has got a lot of stick the last few years for that fact that Jay-Z and Beyonce have both headlined the pyramid stage. You know what, they are both huge artists in their owns rights and have had massive success globally. They deserved their headline slot. If people didn't want to see them they wouldn't, but on both occasions over 100,000 turned up at pyramid to watch them. If you didn't want to watch Beyonce this year then you could have gone to see Queens of the Stone age, or the Streets, or Stereo MCs or Pete Tong, or Kool and the gang and dozens more. At the end of the day people did want to see her, and I have to say, I wasn't expecting much but she did do a fantastic performance and certainly got the crowd behind her with a really good set.

There is just so much to Glastonbury that if you don't like a particular act, then you you'll find something else you'll love instead. What do you wanna do? Want to sit at the pyramid all day drinking beer or cider and watching great artists all day? Want to find some cool bars with some eclectic music? Want to see some performing arts? Want to see something truly creative? Want to sit at stone circle at the top of the hill looking down at all of Glastonbury? Want to go raving? .....What do you want to do? Honestly, you can do it all at Glastonbury !
